HOPE
A 60s/70s dance raising £2000 for a local hospice; a kids holiday club; gardening, painting and mending; a free hog roast with juggler and illusionist; a canvas café and seniors social events – What could they have in common?
They have all been part of HOPE in Henfield. Hope is an event over four days, initiated by the Community Church, involving all four village churches, reaching over 300 people and culminating in a combined Sunday morning celebration of God’s goodness.

Tough Talk
These guys look tough, are tough and have a tough message. Coming from a variety of violent, drug-affected and broken backgrounds these men perform amazing weight-lifting demonstrations whilst they talk about how Jesus has changed their lives. Over 150 people heard them in Henfield in January 2009, as the Community Church launched an Alpha Course.

Newday
Each August we usually take around 20 young people, to Newday – the Newfrontiers youth camp. We have a great time learning about God, the worship is awesome and our scratch team have even won a football match or two! We usually look to top the week off with an adrenaline filled event on the way home such as Alton Towers or dry slope bob sledding!
